The Unique Present
Last year my mom got me this really unique personalized jewelry box for my twenty fifth birthday. She had found it at this antique shop that she always shops at. When I first saw it I almost started crying because it was so beautiful. She even had my initials inscribed in gold on top of it, which looked really nice. I’ve cherished the gift ever since I first got it, and it’s where I keep my most prized possessions. Hopefully one day I’ll have a daughter so I can pass it down to her.
I was thinking about this gift when my best friend in the whole world told me that she was getting married. She also asked me to be her maid of honor, which I graciously accepted. Now with this came a great deal of responsibility. I had to throw lots of gatherings and shop for personalized bridesmaids gifts, but it was all for a good cause. I even asked my mom where that antique store was so that I could go there and see if they had anything that would be fitting for the wedding. We went there together and picked out several lovely and unique presents.
